Weymouth Bay & Seaview Holiday Parks are situated in Dorset. The client wanted the future masterplan of the two parks and how they could be joined together after the company bought the land between and around them. The position of the parks is significant as they sit in one of the most beautiful bays of the south coast. Therefore, the payback of the park was big enough not to require any major changes to the park appearance in the past.

With our proposal, we tried to contain the park in a proposed surrounding space of woodlands and by adding lakes to the landscape we are suggesting beautiful views for the holidaymakers and at the same time contain the overflow of Jordan river which makes the surrounding area vulnerable to floods. The large lake becomes an activities centre point in the heart of the two parks joining them together with a beautiful path. The main target was to be able to reduce numbers in the old caravan parks as they are very dense.
