This 3 million pound project at Seton Sands Holiday park just outside Edinburgh involved the renovation of an existing swimming pool and the construction of a second swimming pool to accommodate the increasing number of guests to the site.

The new large water slide was incorporated appropriately with the use of a stepping down roof that allowed north light to penetrate the building and provide views to the people going down the slide. To avoid glare on the water from the sun, we took advantage of the north orientation of the building that allowed us to provide full glazed facade with vertical louvres positioned on the west part of the building. The stone for the facade was selected to be in similar tones to the surroundings.
