The Love Bugs project involved the construction of 19 luxury holiday homes located on the astonishing sand dunes valley near Perran Sands Holiday Park in Cornwall. We used the existing concrete bases that were unused for more than 30 years for the construction of the holiday homes, while parking for the units was positioned outside of the valley and elevated walkways were designed to avoid interfering with the sand’s movements. Green roods were designed to blend with existing vegetation. The shape and size of the houses was the motivation for their name. I had the responsibility of coming up with the design and concept of the project based on the client’s brief. The project is currently in next year’s spending budget of the park.
